TRACES – Transdisciplinary Research Center for Exhibition Studies
Research Station on Lutherplatz
The TRACES lecture series serves as an open forum for exchange between the university, the art academy, and the public. The invited speakers were selected in close consultation with faculty members from the University and the Kassel Academy of Fine Arts and are each connected to specific courses.
National and international guests from the fields of fine arts, design, exhibition practice, theater, art history, and curatorial theory provide insights into their working methods, research questions, and perspectives on exhibition practice. The result is a transdisciplinary program that brings together diverse approaches and positions and stimulates discussion about exhibition practice in its many forms.
All lectures take place on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. at the TRACES Research Station on Lutherplatz. Admission is free; everyone is warmly welcome.
